I live in the Mesilla Valley of southern New Mexico, surrounded by pecan orchards. One of these smaller orchards is located immediately west of my own property. I will document 2010 by taking a daily photograph of this orchard. For this, I rest my camera in the same "link" of my chainlink property fence. This serves as my tripod and guarantees the same view for every photograph. Enjoy the changing of the season, the difference light and time of day can make. This is my world.

The Orchard - November 25, 2010 1230

After a long intermission due to problems with vertigo and focus (not camera, mine!), I'm back on this project. No longer a 365 experience, but I do hope to get back to daily postings as the most exciting season - harvesting! - is just around the corner.
